The Nakaya Miyabigi Eiboku introduces a distinctive harmony of natural materials and refined craftsmanship, blending beautifully grained wood with the depth and elegance of traditional urushi lacquer. Built on an ebonite foundation, each pen is carefully overlaid with wood and finished with layers of urushi, resulting in a surface that feels both modern and organic. The urushi lacquer is thoughtfully applied to complement the natural grain of the wood, ensuring that no two pens are exactly alike.

This piece was sourced from a trusted collector and remains in pristine, unused condition. Customers may select their preferred nib size and nib color when placing an order, ensuring a writing experience tailored to individual style.

As with all Nakaya creations, the pen is hand-turned from natural ebonite hard rubber and finished in layers of natural urushi lacquer by skilled artisans in Wajima, Japan. Complimentary nib tuning is included with this purchase, and optional customizations—such as Cursive Italic, Architect’s Point, or Spencerian—can also be added.

Nakaya pens use a convenient cartridge/converter filling system and can be enjoyed with any standard fountain pen ink. This pen ships in a paulownia wood presentation box, accompanied by a traditional fabric kimono, a Platinum converter, and starter ink cartridges.
